    @hughesjonathand no its not, thats a cj “civilian jeep” they were never used by the military. but it is a great restoration good job bgirmus

    I want to restore one of these old Willys as my next project.

    We are restoring a 1946 CJ2A and a numbers matching 1947. It looks good but I don’t like the color LOL. Whats the numbers for it???

    The color is an original factory color scheme: Pasture Green with Autumn Yellow wheels. The s/n is 46191. However, the engine is a replacement out of a wrecked 1946. The original block was cracked. The Jeep by no means has matching numbers. However, this project saved a lot of parts from going to scrap.

    the 46′s s/n is 44473 and the 47 is 143706

    Our 46 is missing to many pieces so we are restoring it to a point. we are going to paint it up like a service station truck. Orange and Black with super test on it.

    beautiful willys. my 48 restoration project is still a work in progress, but it looks nowhere near as good as yours, nor will it, as I spend a lot of time riding it through the woods… but I digress. again, congratulations on your beautifully done restoration.

    It’s a 134ci 4 cyl flathead. The trans is a 3 speed T90.
